Hello Everyone. Happy Wheels is releasing on Steam, today, and it has a terrifying 750,000 wishlists after 2 weeks in the store. You can find it HERE. Thank you so much to those that, for some unfathomable reason, still find Happy Wheels at least somewhat interesting.
I would like to please ask for your understanding as our innocent database servers do their best to deal with the incoming traffic of an unexpected and unknown magnitude today. If everything goes to hell, please know we will be doing what we can to mitigate disaster and adapt. If you are having specific issues, please post in discord.
Happy Wheels will continue to be updated after launch, with improvements to controller and steam deck play, offline support, achievements, bug fixes, and more. Eternal thanks to kwlsh for his massive effort in this porting process and his continued support in everything related to keeping Happy Wheels functioning.

(Regarding that part of incoming traffic of an unknown magnitude you have mentioned in this news post) Those alibaba or whatever-you-call-it bots are a nuisance to web traffic as they basically do not follow robots txt rules and they take up A LOT of server bandwidth

Dear Jim, I would like to congratulate you on the whole happy wheels steam thing going on, I've loved this game for so many years now and I only recently started making levels. I've never really stopped loving this game, and it is exciting to see how many other people still appreciate this great game, and I'm excited to see what's next in store for the future. On another note happy wheels is getting hacked again and almost every new level is getting glitched out and maybe even deleted. Sorry to bring the mood down, I'm not the best at these things, but yeah. Thank you for your time. -Mistah_Bones

Personally I bought the game since I played this for free for many years and somehow managed to get into my ancient email address. Was interesting to see what kind of levels I made 10-15 years ago, some as early as 2011.

I reverse-engineered the new Happy Wheels Steam level format and made a free browser tool that converts downloaded record.bin + meta.json files back into LevelXML. Everything runs locally in your browser and the project is open source: https://justprogrammingstuff.github.io/happy-wheels-levelxml/

Hello guys, Darkcreature893 here. It's been a while since I played these games. I remember playing this game, the demo version on some random flash games website from 2012. I grew up playing this games since then. Now, 2026. The game has made a comeback on STEAM, and it's on a reasonable price point. I've spent my money on it and its worth it. For my childhood and for reviving my account. It's been 16 years. 2012 is my first time registering account for the full game and 2014 I've made this Darkcreature893 and till now I'm still having it. I remember that the email connected to this account is unreachable through yahoo (yahoo closed my acc because of long time no activity). Anyhow, Totaljerkface still keeping my account, and I have connected it to my STEAM account. Thank you again Jim and your team for deciding to put this game on STEAM. I hope a newer generation will find this game fun to have and will continue the torch to create awesome levels. -Darkcreature893-

Hell yeah! I already bought mine. I noticed something kinda crazy, 100% of players have the "Promising Start" achievement according to global statistics. Does that mean everyone who purchased Happy Wheels actually played it?

Fantastic, but when will the new objects to be added on the level editor? There's got to be some objects that people suggested years ago. at least pitch shift & speed sound option will even better for the music!
